Bachelor degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. At least 9 years of information technology experience in a large server environment with an emphasis in the infrastructure services area, including Mainframe background plus IBM and HP/Compaq Server hardware. Performing complex analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations. A strong commitment to follow a given plan of action until a desired goal has been achieved, while handling challenging obstacles is required. Demonstrate ability to interpret and apply customer’s requirements within established company and departmental rules. Ability to organize and work on multiple assignments concurrently, prioritize conflicting tasks under pressing workloads while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism are necessary skills. The candidate should possess the drive to keep current with changes in a rapidly evolving technical field. Performs in- depth analysis of the highest-level technical issues. In-depth experience designing and implementing information solutions. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. Keep self and the team updated on specialized skills, technologies, tools, techniques and competencies and function as a key change agent in helping the organization realize its long-term architecture vision, will be responsible for designing and implementing multilayer security standards for both data in- transit and data at-rest. Troubleshooting and proactively resolving hardware and software problems. Identifying, addressing and managing resolution of issues that are technical in nature, that have significant impact on singular or multiple departments within the company. The successful candidate will interface with cross-functional technical and developmental teams to address and solve business challenges. This individual will plan, schedule and coordinate system and component upgrades to maintain currency of technical environment and maintain a stable and flexible server infrastructure in support of business requirements.
This position is responsible for managing the migration and integration of application systems between environments such as Unit Test, System Test and Production. He/she is also responsible for monitoring changes and maintaining the environmental configuration of test and production servers. He/she will also work with project teams to recommend, test and implement server infrastructure components; maintain a high level communications with clients and management on status of project activity; and initiate appropriate development of server infrastructure to meet these requirements.
